“The Remnant Principle”

“The Remnant Principle”

Some people within the church know and understand “The Remnant Principle”, but many people within the church have never heard of nor do they understand the principle of the remnant. The word “remnant” is not found in the Bible according to the Strong’s Concordance, but the concept of the remnant surely is. Webster’s Dictionary defines “remnant” as a small remaining part, quantity or number of persons or things. It is a small piece of something much larger. God always uses “a remnant” (His remnant) to accomplish what He wants done. There are many examples in the Bible of God using “The Remnant Principle”, lets look at just a few. In Judges chapters six and seven, Gideon’s army went from 32,000 to 300 and they defeated the much larger Midianite army. In I Kings 18, Elijah the prophet went up against 850 prophets of Jezebel and Baal and God answered by fire. Esther in Esther four saved the Jewish people from the Persians. All these were a type of the remnant, “in their time”, and I believe we too were born for such a time as this, the year 2021! Think about it, “the church”, in general is much, much bigger than “His church”, His remnant. In other words, not all “the church” is “His church”! Not all “the church” is “the remnant”! “The remnant” are the Lord’s “special forces”, “His elect”! I prophetically believe there is not only coming a separation, there’s coming an arising! An arising of “the remnant” from within “the church”! There’s coming such a great outpouring of God’s anointing and Power upon “the remnant” to enable them to pursue and accomplish God’s Agenda to cleanse, restore, refresh and heal our land through mighty signs and wonders! I believe this is revealed to us in Isaiah 40:5 and Isaiah 60:1-5 (please read).  God is watching and taking names! In which camp are we abiding, the apathetic or the energetic, the compromised or the committed, the spectators or the participants, the lukewarm or the elect? The choice is ours to make! “Make it quickly, saith the Lord”!

Forever Following Jesus,

Gary Pittman, Pastor
